In December of 2009 the Lord began to burden my heart about the ministry of Christian radio.  Although familiar with radio because of the stations my father and brother have started, I can honestly say that it was never my desire to start a radio station.  While soul-winning in the village of Kachonga an elderly lady made a comment that the Lord began to use to change my heart toward radio.  After explaining the Gospel to this elderly lady she said if what I was showing her from the Bible was true then what she had heard all her life in church and what she had been hearing on the "Christian" radio stations was a lie.  As I began to think about what this lady said I realized she was right.  In so many villages where we have never been they are listening to these "Christian" radio stations who are lying to them about the Gospel.  How many would believe the truth if only they could hear it?  In January of 2010 we began looking for a piece of land where we could put this station.  The Lord led us to a piece of land on the side of Mt. Elgon, which is right outside Mbale.  Praise the Lord we were able to buy this land at a price that only the Lord could have given.  By putting the station on this piece of land we will be able to reach about five million people with the Truth!  While on furlough in 2010 we are trying to raise the money needed to buy the equipment to take back with us, and also to buy the license and frequency when we return to Uganda in January of 2011.  Please pray that the Lord would provide what is needed so that these millions of people would have the opportunity to hear the clear plan of salvation.  If you would like to help us with this project, please contact us and we can give you further information, or go to our "Support Us" page and you can see how you can have a personal part in this "open door".  Above all, pray that many people like this elderly lady will hear the Truth and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
